Good Enough for Edith Piaf
A Waldorf Story by Pierre Lapointe
1963
1963
I was very much inspired by the fact that the famous French singer Edith Piaf stayed and performed many times at the Waldorf Astoria in the early sixties. Because of my admiration for her, I then decided that I would stay there too, and I did so three times! My first stay was in room 1326, with the second in Suite 39B (with Mariah Carey as an upstairs neighbor), and my third stay in Suite 41B. These were some of the greatest experience of my life!
