A marriage in the making

My girlfriend (now wife), and I stayed at the Waldorf for the first time together for what we thought was just another trip, but it turned out to be the beginning of the rest of our lives. To say that it was a magical time could not be more of an understatement. I made us a reservation on relatively short notice over the 4th of July holiday. Upon our arrival at check-in, the front desk clerk must have seen something in our lovestruck eyes and upgraded us to an amazing one-bedroom suite on one of the top floors.

That was just the beginning of the most amazing hotel stay and weekend my now wife and I have ever spent together. We have subsequently stayed there numerous times, but our memories from that 4th of July trip, to this day, bring us to the conclusion that we were destined to spend the rest of our lives together. We consider the Waldorf “Our place in NYC!”
