Me and the Honeybees at the Waldorf

In 2018 my book, Honeybee Hotel: The Waldorf Astoria’s Roof Garden and the Heart of New York City, was published by Johns Hopkins University Press. It is about the honeybees living in their hives in the Chefs’ Garden on the 20th floor rooftop garden. While researching this historic and gorgeous hotel, I fell in love with her. She holds the history of New York City itself: its builders, chefs, artists, singers, writers, and world leaders.
