Senior Prom at the Waldorf Astoria

My fondest Waldorf memory is my senior prom back in 2009. At the time I was attending Xaverian all boys Catholic high school and the tradition was to hold senior prom at the Waldorf Astoria. I remember being in awe as I stepped out of the limo and into the building. As a 17-year-old kid, I was completely unaware of the rich history that the Waldorf Astoria.

The Grand Ballroom was unlike anywhere I had ever been at that point in my life. As we danced the night away, I couldn’t help but think how beautiful it all was and how truly lucky I was to be here. Little did I know that 12 years later I’d be right back at the Waldorf contributing to and conserving its storied legacy for years to come.
